It’s secure, it’s simple, and it ensures consistent giving.
Mt. Olive can receive gifts online by credit card or by withdrawal from your bank account. Likewise, you can choose to give a one-time gift or to establish a recurring gift at an interval of your choosing. An online account is required. This enables us to send you an end-of-year tax receipt and allows you to manage and monitor your giving. To give online, click here.
Give in person
Bring cash or check to any of our Sunday services.
You can drop your gift in the offering basket during the service or in the little offering church in the back of the sanctuary at any time. Use a provided envelope if you’d like. If you’d like an end-of-year tax receipt for your donation, please be sure to include your full name and address on your envelope or check.

Make out your gift to “Mt. Olive Lutheran Church”. If you wish to give to a specific fund, please make a note on the memo line.
Thrivent Choice Dollars
An easy way to make a meaningful impact at no additional cost to you!
Thrivent Choice Dollars allow eligible policyholders to direct charitable grant funds to nonprofit organizations they care about. Designating your Thrivent Choice Dollars is simple! Call 800-847-4836 and say “Thrivent Choice.” Provide your name and date of birth to confirm your policy, and request to direct your funds to Mt. Olive.
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
Reduces your taxable income while supporting the mission and ministry of Mt. Olive
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70½ or older to donate directly from their IRA to a qualified charitable organization, like Mt. Olive Church, while enjoying unique tax benefits.
How to direct a QCD to Mt. Olive:
- Contact your IRA custodian to request a direct transfer to Mt. Olive Church.
- Provide them with our church’s legal name, address, and tax ID.
- Notify us of your gift to ensure proper acknowledgment and use.
