Summer in the Psalms

Nine-week Sermon Series
June 12 – August 7, 2022

The book of Psalms is essentially a hymnal, and is a collection of poems and worship songs from throughout Israel’s history. The purpose of the Psalms is to remind us that worship is at the center of everything! The Psalms are full of praise, worship, adoration, repentance, frustration, confusion, and longing. They are a reminder for each of us to talk to God directly—to pour out our heart to Him as the authors did, knowing God hears you and cares for you!

  • June 12th – “The Heavens Declare…”, Psalm 19
  • June 19th – “Oasis”, Psalm 63
