Holy Communion in the Old Testament
The focus of this bible study is to examine where Communion is foreshadowed in the Old Testament. Some might think that Communion started in the Gospels with the Last Supper, but Communion was present and part of God’s plan from the very beginning of salvation history. Just as we can use the Old Testament to look for signs and figures that point forward to Jesus, we can also use the Old Testament to look for signs and figures that point forward to Communion.
