ABOUT MT. OLIVE’S CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Our Lord entrusts us with His precious little ones. At Mt. Olive our vision is to partner with parents to build a foundation of faith and love that will lead the heart of a child to God. We are excited to partner with families on that journey teaching children to love God, care for people and make wise choices. And have fun along the way.

Super Fan | Week 4
We finish the month with a familiar parable found in Luke 10:25-37. When the religious leaders tried to make themselves look good, they try and trick Jesus with a question. If we’re supposed to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, who exactly is our neighbor? Jesus answers with the parable of The Good Samaritan. Jesus used this story to completely change how people who follow Him should look at showing kindness to others—it’s not just for people we know or like, but for everyonewe meet. -
Super Fan | Week 3
For week three, we head to Matthew 5:41. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus taught, Suppose someone forces you to go one mile. Go two miles with them, (NIrV). To us that might sound strange, but to those listening—not so much. Roman soldiers could force them to carry their pack for a full mile. Jesus reminds His followers to go above and beyond in how they respond
to others. -
Super Fan | Week 2
In week two, we head to Ruth 1 and 2, where we find Naomi and her daughter-in-law, Ruth. Their husbands have died, and Ruth has the opportunity to return home to her family. Instead, she chooses to show kindness to Naomi and stay with her. Ruth’s kindness doesn’t go unnoticed. Boaz sees how Ruth is treating Naomi and offers kindness to Ruth, changing her life in a huge way. -
Super Fan | Week 1
We kick off the month of February with something Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:32. Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done, (NIrV). Even when we were separated from God, He showed us kindness through sending Jesus to rescue us and model what kindness can look like in our lives.

Cub Scouts
3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:30pm
Did you know that Mt. Olive has had its own Cub Scout Pack for almost 40 years?
Teaching boys skills for a lifetime!
Fun. Adventure. Values. Cub Scouting is fun, but it also develops character and values. Scouting is the most proven and successful youth service program in American history. Scouting stands for honesty, integrity, character, and courage. It encourages young people and adults to become leaders and make their world a better place. Give us a little time, and we’ll give you experiences and memories that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life. We invite you to contact us to find out how your family can join ours.
Please contact Jonathon Mayor at scatadelik@gmail.com (or cell 512-751-7548) with any questions or for more information about any of these events.
