ABOUT MT. OLIVE’S CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Our Lord entrusts us with His precious little ones. At Mt. Olive our vision is to partner with parents to build a foundation of faith and love that will lead the heart of a child to God. We are excited to partner with families on that journey teaching children to love God, care for people and make wise choices. And have fun along the way.

Ready for Launch | Week 3In week three, we see how Nehemiah deals with some distractions in Nehemiah 2:19-20, 4, and 6. Not everyone liked what Nehemiah was doing. He had enemies who tried to get the people distracted from finishing the wall. But he sees through their plan and focused on the job God gave him to finish.
Ready for Launch | Week 2In week two, we see a different part of Nehemiah’s story. In Nehemiah 5:1-12, we discover that while everyone was building the wall, an issue arose. Some
of the Israelites were severally mistreating each other. Even though Nehemiah was in charge of rebuilding the wall, he stopped building the wall to confront the issue. Helping others who were mistreated was more important than finishing the wall. He cared enough about the people to say to help them figure out a solution.
Ready for Launch | Week 1In our first week, we start at the beginning of Nehemiah’s story in Nehemiah 1:1–2:18. We discover that Nehemiah was working for King Artaxerxes when
his brother brought news from the exiles living in Judah. When he heard about the devastation in Jerusalem, Nehemiah was heartbroken. He recognized the vast need, but before he did anything, he prayed. Nehemiah
knew that whatever he would do, he’d need God’s help to accomplish it.
Ready for Launch | Week 4Look for ways to celebrate what God has done. When we realize that God is doing amazing
things in our lives, we can’t help but thank Him. We pray that throughout this month, looking at Nehemiah’s story, kids will see how God helps them every day. We hope they learn to celebrate God’s continued work in their lives.
3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:30pm
Did you know that Mt. Olive has had its own Cub Scout Pack for almost 40 years?
Teaching boys skills for a lifetime!
Fun. Adventure. Values. Cub Scouting is fun, but it also develops character and values. Scouting is the most proven and successful youth service program in American history. Scouting stands for honesty, integrity, character, and courage. It encourages young people and adults to become leaders and make their world a better place. Give us a little time, and we’ll give you experiences and memories that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life. We invite you to contact us to find out how your family can join ours.
Please contact Jonathon Mayor at email@example.com (or cell 512-751-7548) with any questions or for more information about any of these events.
